Mavis Teo founded Allegro Communications after careers spanning journalism, public relations and private banking. She read law before building a career across these industries, giving her a distinctive perspective on how brands are positioned, how stories shape perception and how communications supports broader business objectives.
An established travel journalist, Mavis stays at more than 30 hotels and resorts each year, most of them luxury properties. This first-hand exposure to hospitality, combined with years of working with publications across Asia Pacific, gives her a deep understanding of evolving traveller expectations, regional markets and the stories that resonate with both media and consumers.
Over the years, she has built trusted relationships with editors, journalists and carefully selected content creators across the region, enabling Allegro to develop communications strategies tailored to each client's objectives, audience and market rather than relying on one-size-fits-all campaigns.
Mavis believes the strongest communications begin with understanding the business.
